An environment-friendly air-conditioning segment for various residential, commercial and industrial infrastructure was launched on Thursday in Thimphu.
Daikin Air-conditioning Indian private limited, a fully owned subsidiary of Daikin Industries Limited, Japan and the market leader in premium the air-conditioning segment inaugurated Solution Plaza in Thimphu, in collaboration with M/s Bhutan Building Solutions (BBSs), amidst major fanfare and excitement.
This is one of the many solution plazas that Daikin intends to launch during this financial year, aimed at nationwide dealer development. The Daikin products bring with them strong technology from Daikin Global that offers lower cost of ownership topped with unmatched quality and durability. The air conditioners will now be available to the consumers in Bhutan through its dealer network that has been specially trained by Daikin to provide unmatched quality services.
The vice president of Daikin air-conditioning India Private Limited, Kapil Bhatia said it is energy efficient and gives solutions to all the buildings and rooms. “It is 64% more efficient than the other normal AC,” he said.
This product is globally available. They also provide all kinds of designs and applications.
Vice President-Applied and Exports DAIPL, Kapil Bhatia said, “We have plans to get aggressive in our approach in the Bhutan market and the inauguration of the Solution Plaza is a key step toward strengthening Daikin’s endeavour to establish itself as a main player in the consumer air-conditioner segment.” He added that people in Bhutan appreciate quality products and the range is ideally suited to consumers who are willing to enjoy the superior Daikin experience that is now available at competitive price band. “We are committed to provide unmatched consumer experience with network of highly trained sales, service and maintenance through our strong dealer network.”
The Solution Plaza (showroom), which is located in Babesa along the Thimphu Express Highway, was jointly inaugurated by Dasho Kinley Dorji, Thimphu Thrompon and Kapil Bhatia of Daikin India.
Daikin Air conditioning India Pvt. Ltd. (DAIPL) has been successfully offering premium air conditioning solutions in the market for large-scale projects. Robust growth is forecasted in Bhutan’s air-conditioning market in the future and Daikin intends to further increase its market share of residential and large-scale projects.
So far, they have got orders from Bhutan National Bank.
