The Royal Monetary Authority (RMA) has placed a new ceiling on international credit card and debit card withdrawal for Bhutanese. An international credit card client will be entitled to a maximum of only US$ 3,000 for one calendar year for Bhutanese citizens. Earlier, the withdrawal ceiling for foreign currency was allowed to US$ 20,000 for a year. And RMA has said that credit cards cannot be used for import payment and can be used only for personnel...
