Recession-hit Karma Steel, the official sponsors of the Bhutan Tennis Federation, even managed to fund the Annual Spring Open Even while international sports organizations including FIFA and the International Olympic Committee (IOC) were hit by the global financial meltdown, funding for local sports agencies have not been affected. “It has not affected the Bhutan Olympic Committee (BOC)”, said general secretary, Karma Wangchuk.
