I finally understand why photo copy machines are a top priority in gewogs. Because each one of us need at least a hundred copies of our citizenship identity card. This must be the most common statement you hear from public service delivery agencies: ‘fill the form, submit two passport- sized photographs, and attach a copy of your ID card’. Not all populist are bad Informal chitchats bring out interesting perceptions. The question of what makes a ‘leader’ would have to probe into how people define leadership, the characteristics they associate with a ‘good’ leader (well, ‘bad’ does not go alongside ‘leader’ now does it?) and so on.
