In order to enhance customer service and facilitate easy access to service delivery, T-Bank opened a branch office in Trashigang on July 9.
The branch office was set up in Trashigang to extend banking services.
Trashigang T-Bank Branch Manager Saha Bdr Biswa said that the branch office will provide all types of banking services including foreign remittance services. “We will provide quality services and excellent customer care to the public.”
He said that the branch office will benefit clients in Trashigang and nearby places as the clients will not have to go to the head office or other branch offices for services.
Additionally, he said that the branch office will provide immediate services, save time and build saving habits.
Along with the branch office, T-Bank has also set-up ATM services in Trashigang for client convenience.
Karma, a resident from Trashigang said that the T-Bank branch opening in town provides a choice of services to the public. “We have other banks in Trashigang but with T-Bank services now, the public can avail different banking facilities.”
Similarly, another resident said that he has a T-Bank account and having a T-Bank in Trashigang is convenient for others like him. “It will help to reduce the cost of obtaining information and help make the economy more efficient.”
Meanwhile, a monk from Trashigang said that although he has other bank accounts, he want to open a T-Bank account and avail its facilities.
The branch office will accept deposits, withdrawals, and offer transfers and opening on new accounts.
The office will also issue drafts, cheque, and alternative delivery channel services.
Currently, T-Bank has nine branch offices in Trashigang, Thimphu, Phuentsholing, Wangduephodrang, Gelephu, Paro, Mongar, Trongsa and Samdrup Jongkhar.
